Heroes Landing Set to Open at Carr Center House

April is child abuse awareness month, and the Carr Center is partnering up with Heroes Landing to kick it off.

The two nonprofits are teaming up to give Heroes Landing a more permanent home at a house owned by the Carr Center.

The home is being set up as a place for children who are victims of sexual or physical abuse to go receive a more comforting forensic examination.

Evonne Saunders, the Executive Director of Heroes Landing, says the home will be something that Muskingum County has needed for a while.
