Trauma Intervention for Children and Caregivers
We’re excited to partner with the National Youth Advocate Program to offer Child Family Traumatic Stress Intervention for children and their caregivers as post-appointment programming. This early intervention model is designed for children seven years and older who have experienced a traumatic event within the last 30-45 days.
New Membership with National Children’s Alliance
Because of the work we’ve been doing this past year, Heroes Landing has been recognized as an Associate/Developing Member with the National Children’s Alliance. We are honored to receive this status and proud of everything our team has accomplished in a short amount of time.

Teddy Bear Drive
Muskingum County Child Protective Services hosted a community Teddy Bear Drive during their annual staff training. Through their support, alongside other organizations, we received hundreds of stuffed animals and toys for children who receive services at our facility.
We'd like to thank Chef Bill Bird for selecting Heroes Landing as his charity for July’s Dancing Divas competition. Dancing Divas pairs local celebrities with dance instructors to compete on behalf of, and raise awareness for, local charities. Check out this blog article to learn more about Chef Bill and why he chose to support Heroes Landing.
